Hello America,
Thought:
People are tired of division and cruelty, and Decency is the one force that can reconnect us, restore our shared humanity, and remind us that a nation is a home to be cared for, not a battlefield to be fought on.
Reflection:
The Human Reason
Decency must rise again because people are tired, tired of division, tired of cruelty, tired of being told to fear one another.
Human beings are wired for connection, not division.
When Decency rises, it restores what politics cannot: the sense that we belong to one another. It reminds us that a nation is not an argument; it is a shared home.
And homes are healed through care, not combat.
MADA Moment:
On a scale of 1 to 5, how often do you see people treating one another with Decency and respect despite their differences?
⭐ 1 = Rarely
⭐⭐ 2 = Occasionally
⭐⭐⭐ 3 = Sometimes
⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 = Often
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 = Consistently
If your answer is less than a 5, what small act of Decency could help bring people together rather than push them apart?
In MADA, a snowball is any small act that spreads Decency, Dignity, Honesty, Integrity, or Responsibility.
A listening ear is a snowball.
A respectful conversation is a snowball.
A kind word is a snowball.
An act of Decency is a snowball.
And every avalanche begins with a few snowballs.
Remember, the Spirit of Adventure lightens the load in all that we do.
Thank you,
Bobby Sawick
