Hello America,
Thought:
A nation drifts toward danger when winning matters more than integrity, and finds its strength again when leaders choose service over spectacle.
Reflection:
Integrity must rise again because political culture has drifted toward a dangerous habit: rewarding those who “win” rather than those who serve.
When leaders bend rules, blur lines, or hide behind technicalities, they teach the nation that ethics are optional. And once integrity becomes optional, corruption becomes inevitable.
But integrity is also a political force. It steadies institutions. It protects citizens from manipulation. It reminds leaders that authority is not a trophy. It is a trust loaned by the people.
Integrity is the quiet discipline that keeps power honest, transparent, and accountable.
A nation rises when its character rises, and character rises when integrity is restored.
MADA Moment:
On a scale of 1 to 5, how would you rate the integrity demonstrated by public servants when making decisions that affect the people they serve?
⭐ 1 = Poor
⭐⭐ 2 = Fair
⭐⭐⭐ 3 = Average
⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 = Good
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 = Excellent
If your answer is less than a 5, what small act of Integrity could help improve the situation?
In MADA, a snowball is any small act that spreads Decency, Dignity, Honesty, Integrity, or Responsibility.
A conversation is a snowball.
A kind word is a snowball.
A thoughtful response is a snowball.
An act of Integrity is a snowball.
And every avalanche begins with a few snowballs.
Remember, the Spirit of Adventure lightens the load in all that we do.
Thank you,
Bobby Sawick
