Hello America,
Thought:
Decency is the shield that protects the vulnerable, restrains the abuse of power, and keeps a nation from forgetting the people it exists to serve.
Reflection:
Decency must rise again because it protects the vulnerable. Without it, power becomes a weapon instead of a responsibility. When Decency rises, leaders remember who they serve. Institutions remember why they exist. Citizens remember that their voice matters.
Decency is the shield that keeps corruption from becoming normal and ensures that people are never forgotten.
MADA Moment:
On a scale of 1 to 5, how well do you believe America protects its most vulnerable citizens with Decency and respect?
⭐ 1 = Very Poorly
⭐⭐ 2 = Poorly
⭐⭐⭐ 3 = Adequately
⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 = Well
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 = Very Well
If your answer is less than a 5, what small act of Decency could help protect, encourage, or support someone who may be struggling today?
In MADA, a snowball is any small act that spreads Decency, Dignity, Honesty, Integrity, or Responsibility.
Helping someone in need is a snowball.
Speaking up for someone is a snowball.
Showing compassion is a snowball.
An act of Decency is a snowball.
And every avalanche begins with a few snowballs.
Remember, the Spirit of Adventure lightens the load in all that we do.
Thank you,
Bobby Sawick
