Decency must rise again because people are tired — tired of division, tired of cruelty, tired of being told to fear one another. Human beings are wired for connection, not conflict. When Decency rises, it restores what politics cannot: the sense that we belong to one another. It reminds us that a nation is not an argument — it is a shared home. And homes are healed through care, not combat.
