Pre‑judgment blinds the heart  

Haste distorts; pausing restores the human being in front of us. 

Thought 

Pre‑judgment blinds the heart —  

for it sees only its own shadow. 

Reflection 

When the heart judges too quickly, it loses its ability to see another human being clearly.  

It mistakes its own fears for truth,  

its own wounds for insight,  

its own shadow for someone else’s identity.  

But when the heart pauses —  

even for a moment —  

the shadow lifts,  

and the person before us becomes visible again.  

Clarity returns.  

Decency awakens.  

And the soul remembers that truth is never found in haste.
