Hello America,
Thought:
A country rises when its people stop waiting for someone else to fix what is broken and start carrying their share of the work.
Reflection:
Responsibility must rise again because America cannot heal if everyone waits for someone else to fix what is broken. It must rise because leadership without Responsibility becomes performance. It must rise because citizenship without Responsibility becomes entitlement. And it must rise because a country that forgets Responsibility forgets that freedom also requires stewardship.
When Responsibility rises, Integrity rises with it, and together they steady the nation.
MADA Moment:
On a scale of 1 to 5, how willing do you believe Americans are to take Responsibility for the problems they can help solve?
⭐ 1 = Not Willing
⭐⭐ 2 = Slightly Willing
⭐⭐⭐ 3 = Moderately Willing
⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 = Very Willing
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 = Consistently Willing
If your answer is less than a 5, what small act of Responsibility could help improve the situation?
In MADA, a snowball is any small act that spreads Decency, Dignity, Honesty, Integrity, or Responsibility.
Showing up is a snowball.
Keeping a commitment is a snowball.
Helping solve a problem is a snowball.
An act of Responsibility is a snowball.
And every avalanche begins with a few snowballs.
Remember, the Spirit of Adventure lightens the load in all that we do.
Thank you,
Bobby Sawick
